Bingham’s Clothing is a premium menswear retailer known for seasonal promotions and curated apparel brands. I aided in the planning and direction of monthly photo and video shoots, and then developed social media campaigns and creative assets that supported product launches, sales events, and ongoing brand engagement. The work required balancing Bingham’s visual identity with the established branding standards of national apparel partners to create cohesive, high-performing social content.
CFM Insurance is a Missouri-based mutual insurance company serving farm, home, auto, and business policyholders. Over the last decade, I helped shape and evolve the organization’s visual identity, developing the brand, standards and creating a wide range of marketing assets across print, digital, social media, web, event, and experiential channels. My work supported both internal and external communications, large-scale campaigns, community initiatives, trade shows, and multiple affiliated brands within the organization.
Ember is a modern partnership platform created to help mutual insurance companies evolve through shared resources, technology, and operational support. The project included developing a brand identity that balanced innovation with a spark of forward-thinking leadership and the trust and stability central to the mutual insurance industry. The resulting visual system, website, and social presence were designed to feel bold, modern, and approachable while remaining grounded in Ember’s mission and values.
Catalyst Nutrition is a sports supplement brand developed around the idea of fueling progress and performance. The project included logo design, brand identity development, and packaging design for a five-product line. The resulting visual system combines bold typography, high-energy graphics, and premium gold accents to create a modern, strength-focused brand with strong shelf impact.
These identity projects represent a diverse collection of brands ranging from startups and community organizations to established businesses seeking a refreshed market presence. Each visual system was developed to communicate a unique brand story while remaining flexible enough to support marketing, digital, print, environmental, and experiential applications.

Melissa Hoefer is a senior graphic designer and creative lead with more than 13 years of experience building brand identities, integrated marketing campaigns, and experiential work across corporate, agency, and nonprofit environments.
She's led brand governance and creative direction across multi-brand organizations, scaled identity systems and template libraries, and produced everything from 40-foot trade-show environments to month-ahead social content. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Missouri, and partners with teams that want design to move the business, not just dress it up.
